Mount Tsukuba
Mount Tsukuba, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains, is known as 'Fuji in the west, Tsukuba in the east.' It features two peaks: Nyotai-san and Nantai-san, accessible by ropeway and cable car. Enjoy panoramic views of the Kanto Plain from the summit. With easy access from Tokyo via the Tsukuba Express, it’s a popular destination.
Ushiku Buddha | Ushiku City

JAXA | Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency
Japan's only space engineering research facility showcases various satellite test models, rocket engines used in combustion experiments, a full-scale model of the 'Kibo' module from the International Space Station, and the large pool used by astronauts for zero-gravity training.
